A rare, 1918 dated Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) Waistbelt.

This waistbelt was made in "5-18" (ie - May 1918), and has a built-in metal D-Shaped holder, which accommodated the butt of the rifle, allowing it to be fired from the hip.

The waistbelt also has built-in ammunition pouches, with two of these at the front being for pistol ammunition.

The waistbelt is in three sections, which are all dated "5-18".

Nice to find an example which has all been together since WW1.
