A pair of GENUINE ex-military, unissued cloth patches to the U.S Army's 100th Infantry Division.

These patches are probably 1950's-60's in age, but are identical to the patches issued and worn by the 100th Inf Div during WW2.

At the end of the war in Europe, this Division included the 397th, 398th and 399th Infantry Regiments. They fought the Germans in the Nordwind offensive of January 1945, and were involved in the hard-fought battles to take the town of Bitche in March 1945.

The Division reached Stuttgart on April 21st 1945, and ended the war serving military government duties.

A nice addition to any WW2 collection, or badge collection in general. Also, very useful for Living History purposes, or museum displays.
