A rare, 1939 British ADVENTURE BOOK FOR BOYS.

This is a 140-page annual, inscribed and dated on the inside - 1939 (see photos). It contains stories, which look as if they were aimed at boys between the ages of 9-14.

You can just imagine an annual like this being taken by boys when they evacuated the big cities, and were popular reading by children in the Second World War.

The book is intact, but does have wear and scuffed corners/edges etc. However, the picture on the front of the annual is still very vivid, and overall - it is still in very presentable condition.

A nice addition to any WW2 British Homefront collection, or museum with an interest in the period.
