A WW2 period Bren Machine-Gun Spare Parts Wallet.

This example has four internal compartments, which were designed to accomodate the oil can, combination tool, double pull-through and guaze, clearing plug, flannelette and spare parts tin.

From the inside, this example doesn't look as if it's been issued, but from outside, it has picked up a little bit of dirt through being in stores for several decades.

It is stamped on the inside with the maker's mark "C. P. Ltd", but the date is smudgey and unclear (NB - a common problem with C. P. Ltd items - we've seen the same on Vickers Ammo Box Carriers).

These Spare Parts Wallets are now becoming difficult to find.
