A superb, late 1950's-1960's (Vietnam War period) United States Army Senior Infantry Officer's Peaked Cap.

This would have been worn with the best uniform and is beautifully made to a very high quality, and is decorated with embroidered oakleaves on the peak to indicate a senior officer. It bears the light blue coloured band around it's centre - which indicates an Officer assigned to Infantry, and has a gilded brass Officer's cap badge on the front.

On the inside of the cap is the name of the former owner, a "Major Tedcastle". The cap was made by "Berkshire DeLuxe", who were a popular manufacturer of Officer's caps during this period.

This one is a good size (7 & 1/8th), and looks as if it's hardly seen any use. A really nice, quality cap. Excellent condition for age.
