A rare, 1966 dated Mortar Bomb Carrying Bag.

This bag measures 29cm x 24cm x 9cm, and is made from the same material as the British Army's supplementary cloth bandolier.

It has similar, bendy wires at the top on the front, which fits through two holes on the flap. It comes with a built in carrying strap.

On the inside, the bag has internal dividers, which allows the storage of five mortar bombs.

This bag looks very WW2 in age, as it's made from the same material as the cloth bandolier. However, this example is dated 1966.

If you are aware of this item being in use during WW2 - I would be appreciate more information on it.

The bag is in unissued, excellent condition.
